Mon domaine de recherche s’intéresse à l’étude des implications du remodelage vasculaire chez le patient diabétique.
Le principal objectif de mon travail de doctorat est de déterminer si le pré-conditionnement vasculaire (ischaemic preconditioning - IPC) peut être utilisé dans le diagnostic et la gestion de la santé du pied diabétique.
Le deuxième objectif est d’examiner l’utilisation de l’IPC répété pour favoriser la vascularisation et ainsi développer une modalité d’entraînement pour améliorer la santé à long terme du pied diabétique.

My area of research is focused on investigating the implications of vascular remodelling to the diabetic patient. Therefore, this research will involve gaining an understanding of the impact of loss of vascularisation resulting in a reduction in blood flow in diabetic populations.
The main aims of investigation during this PhD are to determine whether the use of ischaemic preconditioning (IPC) can be used in the diagnosis and health management of the diabetic foot. The second aim is to examine the use of repeated IPCs to improve vascularisation and developing a training modality to improve the long-term health of the diabetic foot.
